Ajax Search Pro 4.27.2 Update Features

By Ernest Marcinko
July 28, 2025

Marching forward with integrations: Divi, Bricks, Blocksy and Imagely NGG Gallery was focused in this release.

It is time to update! Version 4.27.2 is Big. Not in size, but in features. This release is filled with new integrations and some very interesting bugfixes. As usual, you can read up on all of them via the 4.27.2 changelog.

Divi, Bricks, Blocksy and NextGen Gallery integration

Divi Blogs Module was already supported, but Divi has a lot of extra modules available in their own marketplace. One of them is the very popular Divi Blog Extras module.

This version introduces support for the Divi Blog Extras module.

Bricks is also a hotspot for developers, their Query Loop is one of the best on the market. It was just a matter of time, but now it’s also supported for live search and filtering.

To give some respect to the block theme gang, the Blocksy theme Advanced Posts module is now also supported for Live Search and Filter features.

And last but not least, Imagely NextGen Gallery Image live search. Ajax Search Pro is now the one and only search plugin, which can search and return images from NexGen galleries.

WooCommerce Sale Badge

We are not done yet. In version 4.27 the advanced field editor was introduced. It was designed to be easily extendable, therefore a WooCommerce sale badge field was added.

This sale badge can be inserted via the field editor, supporting 3 layouts with changeable font sizes, colors and backgrounds.

Media File Folder Inclusions and Exclusions

This one is big for the PDF and other file search users. I have been asked many times for a feature to limit which folders are included or excluded in the search.

Now, you not only can tell which folders to index, but also limit them further on the search instance settings as you like.

Many Improvements and Bugs fixed

It’s too many to list here, so I recommend checking out the changelog for all the details. It contains all the changes and even the github tracker for each issue.
